Starting Wednesday, September 11, Wide Wonderful World of Tarot with Thalassa embarks on a six part series of “Everything You Need to Know about the Tarot.” An excellent introduction to Tarot, refresher course or opportunity to re-tool your existing experience, these classes will cover a different topic each week. You can take them individually or as a full series (and there is a discount for registering for the series too). Each class runs from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm.

Wednesday, September 11th – Tarot: History, Myths, Legends and Why it all Matters. This is not just an introduction Tarot, it is the foundation of the class.
Wednesday, September 18th – The Trumps (Major Arcana), Part One. An exploration of the images, archetypes, memes, symbolism and meaning of the first half of the Major Arcana.
Wednesday, September 25th – The Trumps (Major Arcana), Part Two. The continuation of explorong the images, archetypes, memes, symbolism and meaning of the remainderof the Major Arcana.
Wednesday, October 2nd – The Pips (Minor Arcana) a study of the uses and meanings of the numbered cards of the deck
Wednesday, October 9th – Those Darned Court Cards. An exploration of the enigmatic and frequently challenging “face cards” of the deck
Wednesday, October 16th – What to do Withe a Deck of Tarot Cards. Putting your Tarot knowledge to use, including reading techniques, meditation, magic and other ways to employ the deck.
